Revisiting Martin Luther King's 1963 Dream speech

As people gather today to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, we look at images from that event in 1963 and from tumultuous times during the civil rights movement. King's pivotal speech addressing racism in this country was a crucial event in the history of civil rights and one that will always be remembered, not just on this milestone anniversary. -Leanne Burden Seidel ( 20 photos total)

Sometimes we feel despair and be tired of any thing, but the world always moves on, can we stay with it?   
บางครั้งเราเองก็รู้สึกท้อแท้ และรู้สึกแย่กับบางเรื่อง ... แต่ว่าโลกเราก็ยังหมุนไปเรื่อยๆ ..แล้วเราจะอยู่กับมันได้อย่างไร? 


Whenever we see some other people who never feel despair and struggle for their troubles we are happy and do not worry.   
เมื่อไรก็ตามที่เห็นคนหลายคนทีไม่เคยแสดงอาการท้อถอย และพยายามดิ้นรนต่อสู้ปัญหาชีวิตของพวกเขา เราก็พลอยมีความสุข และรู้สึกดีขึ้นตามไปด้วย 



Yes, when we read about this young man, Fan Ling, we gain my energy.
แน่นอนครับ ทันทีที่ได้อ่านเรื่องราวของเด็กหนุ่มคนนี้ Fan Ling ..เราก็...น่าจะเรียกพลังขึ้นมาได้อีกโข...  

Because China is the socialist regime. So the "caste system" is not so common in Chinese (Communist) society. They have been not accustomed to discrimination.  
...เพราะว่า ประเทศจีน (แผ่นดินใหญ่) เป็นระบอบสังคมนิยม  ดังนั้น "ระบอบชนชั้น" จึงเป็นสิ่งแปลกในสังคมชาวจีน (คอมมิวนิสต์)  พวกลูกหลานประธานเหมาทั้งหลายแหล่แกก็เลยไม่ชินต่อการเหยียดหยาม(บุคคลที่ด้อยกว่า)

Fan Ling Uses his Feet to Work - 21 years old Fan Ling lost hands in a terrible accident. But it couldn't break him. He learned to use his feet to work on computer, to draw, to play table tennis, etc. Great spirit.

"ฟานหลิง" เด็กหนุ่มชาวจีนอายุ 21 ปี  ซึ่งสูญเสียแขนของตนเองไปในอุบัติเหตุรุนแรง เขาจึงใช้เท้าแทน แต่ก็ไม่ได้มีปัญหา เพราะหนุ่มฟานก็พยายามเรียนรู้ที่จะใช้เท้าในการทำงานบนคอมพิวเตอร์ วาดภาพ และเล่นกีฬา ฯลฯ   ไม่ย่อท้อ ... Great spirit- (หัวใจยิ่งใหญ่ไม่ย่อท้อ)

  He uses his feet for his lunch. ถ้าเขาไม่ใช้เท้าแล้วเขาจะกินอย่างไรล่ะครับ

 

He leans on himself.  เขาพึ่งพาตนเอง

He can play with any other people.  เล่นกับคนอื่นๆ เหมือนคนปกติ

He studies hard.  เขาก็เรียนหนักอยู่

Nothing is worrying him.  ไม่มีอะไรทำให้เขากังวลใจได้

He enjoys his college life.  ใช้ชีวิตนักศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยได้ค่อนข้างดี

He is studying at the library.  เขาคงไม่ได้นั่งเล่นเกมหรอกนะ

Be sure, he plays.  ใช่แล้ว เขาต้องเล่นแน่

Using computer is so common.  ใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ได้ดีไม่มีปัญหา

with the one you love กับเพื่อน

He can write with his feet instead of his hand. ก็เขียนได้ดีไม่มีปัญหา

Train crash in Spain อุบัติเหตุรถไฟร้ายแรงในสเปน

On Wednesday a high-speed train crashed and derailed in Santiago de Compostela, killing at least 78 people in Spain's worst train crash since 1972. The speed of the train is being questioned and the veteran driver was arrested. The train was full of passengers traveling to attend a prominent festival, which was subsequently canceled due to the tragedy.-Leanne Burden Seidel
