Alain Diabanza, 35, teaches French to a student in Malaga, Spain on May 29. Diabanza was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which was ravaged by a brutal conflict from 1998-2003. He went to Angola, Senegal and then Morocco from where he swam to the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. Syrian children, who are living at the Al Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, fight as they perform an interpretation of Shakespearean plays "Hamlet" and "King Lear", during the "Shakespeare in Zaatari" event at the Roman Amphitheatre in Amman May 30. Mohammed al Hassan (R), 32, and his wife Rana sit in their home at a refugee camp in Amman May 29. Al Hassan, his wife and their four children are from Homs, Syria. Al Hassan said that after the start of the Syrian uprising he felt the situation became too dangerous for his family, and he decided to flee. The family now lives at al-Hussein Palestinian refugee camp in the Jordanian capital Amman, where they are mostly dependent on humanitarian aid.
