Chaos
that has emerged now in Iraq as a result of activation of the
militants, "the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (LIH), led to the
emergence in the north of the country a large number of civilian
refugees. Primarily
from among the representatives of various minorities - Kurds and
Christians, many of whom in their quest to avoid hanging over them
deadly threat rushed toward the Iraq-Syrian border in the hope of
finding refuge in areas controlled by Kurdish militias.
